An interview with Moulay-Ahmed HARROUNI,
Process Owner & Functional IT at LISI AEROSPACE
In what context did you organize the training sessions you are going to tell us about?
Moulay-Ahmed Harrouni : Our training needs are directly related to the harmonization of the ERP system within our group and the roll out of Infor M3 into the various sites.
The deployment I am in charge of involves two plants using an obsolete ERP, and three other plants working on M3 V13.2. The goal of the project is to move these five entities to version 13.4.
Why did you call on Authentic to provide training?
Moulay-Ahmed Harrouni : I searched on the internet and through my network for companies that could accompany us on Infor M3 V13.4 training courses focused on the standard of the ERP. We wanted a 100% objective and external view on our use of M3. I came across your training program available on your website. It is one of the most complete I have found, which talks about both business-oriented functional training and technical training.
What kind of training service did Authentic deliver to you?
Moulay-Ahmed Harrouni : Authentic accompanied us on every aspect of the project.
First of all we worked with your training manager on the creation of training courses adapted to our needs, and on the construction of the training plan. Various types of profiles were included in the training cycle : users who already knew version 13.2 and others who did not know M3 at all, business profiles and technical profiles. Authentic’s support in defining the training plan was decisive.
The Lisi Aerospace and Authentic technical teams also collaborated closely to set up the environments and create the profiles and training data in M3. Thanks to the great quality of this upstream preparation, we were able to implement the training plan effectively.
Was the training conducted remotely or in person?
Moulay-Ahmed Harrouni : Everything was done on site. I thank Authentic for its flexibility on this point.
Some trainings took place in Authentic’s offices in Nantes. Others were held in our offices in Paris. The next sessions are scheduled directly on the production sites, as close as possible to the business.
What did you think of these trainings?
Moulay-Ahmed Harrouni : We were very satisfied with the Authentic trainers we worked with. They are very skilled consultants who were able to answer each and every question we had. They were definitely experienced and mastered the software. They were able to explain the differences between 13.2 and 13.4, for example, and guide us through the process.
One key point is that we managed to contextualize the training to our company. The discussions during the training went much further than just a skills transfer on Infor M3. One of the strengths of the senior level of your trainers is that they fueled the discussions with their own experience with other customers. This made for some really relevant and constructive exchanges.
We also really appreciated the way the training sessions were conducted, with concrete cases and exercises that allowed users to manipulate the system during the session and in the presence of the trainer who was always available to answer questions live.
In summary, we can say that you are fully satisfied?
Moulay-Ahmed Harrouni : Absolutely. Authentic’s support on all aspects of the project as well as the quality of the training provided were very much appreciated.
