In what context did you organize the training sessions you are going to tell us about ?

Romain Hourné : When I took over as CIO at Exadis, I realized that the users knew how to run their processes but were not able to change the settings to meet our current business needs. This can be explained by a high turnover in the company. A lot of people learnt how to use Infor M3 on the spot. But the operational staff is not involved in the configuration or in questioning the process.

I therefore identified a need for the teams in place to re-take control of the Infor M3 ERP.

Moreover, we were in the process of scoping the ERP migration and this training was the perfect opportunity to raise awareness among the functional teams about the capabilities of M3 within its standard

What type of profiles was the training intended for ?

Romain Hourné  : End users and business managers. The training lasted 3 days on site : one day on the fundamentals and the common core, one day on procurement and one day on logistics.

How was the training plan designed ?

Romain Hourné :The training consultant came on site before the training to audit our processes and understand how we work. We have an accumulation of program customizations which have diverted the solution from its standard. It was important for the consultant to see how the teams work operationally in order to be able to re-explain the standard and its capabilities. Our objective is to go back to standard M3 and the consultant was able to explain the best practices and what it was possible to do in standard.

What did you think of these trainings ?

Romain Hourné : I am satisfied because Authentic managed to provide us with a tailor-made training. Having the consultant in our office allowed us to raise some specific operational issues that were then addressed during the training

You are also one of the first customers to have benefited from e-learning training modules developed by Authentic ?

Romain Hourné : Indeed, our ERP project manager who just arrived in January was able to benefit from e-learning training. His feedback is very positive.
